Six Mile Run Reformed Church has been a landmark of the Franklin Park community since 1766. We happily open our doors to our local residents as well as share our facilities with groups of all faiths. The church has worked hard to utilize its resources to serve its mission as well as to keep its buildings in good repair. Currently, we find ourselves facing a major expense in order to continue to provide a safe gathering place for our friends and neighbors. The slate roof on the sanctuary building needs to be replaced after 137 years of exposure to the elements.
The church’s mission of continuing to contribute to the moral, ethical, physical and spiritual well-being of Central New Jersey has only been made possible with the active assistance of those who live and work here as well as outside of our area. We are hoping that you will continue to partner with us to benefit our community. The cost of replacing the roof is significant and the congregation needs help to meet these costs. We have already received donations from houses of worship, local businesses, and individuals. However, we are still short of the total amount needed.
We would like to count you among those who support this effort and hope you will consider making a donation to the Six Mile Run Roof Replacement Fund. Your tax deductible contribution will help us maintain the structural integrity of our historic church.
You may donate by check made payable to Six Mile Run Reformed Church and noting Roof Replacement Fund in the memo section, or by clicking on the yellow “Donate” button on this page. Any donation you can make is greatly appreciated and will be a blessing to our church and those we continue to serve.
